Roomies

A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of having our very first guests in our new house! Well, that is aside from grandmas, who with all their hard work helping us unpack and get organized can hardly be called guests.

My college roomies and their beautiful babies came over (plus one hubbie). These girls have been some of my very best friends for over ten years now. Things have surely changed in all our lives since our days at The Nest (our old house in College Station), but our time together always takes me back to those simpler days.

Their visit was the very first time we've had all of our kiddos in the same place so it was extra special. They're each about a year apart, which seems like a pretty big difference now, but I hope these kids get to spend some good quality time together over the years as that age gap becomes much less noticeable.

We even managed to get a good picture! After many, many attempts, we finally got them all facing the same direction.
